Dan,

I don't think any of the deep pockets players are interested in Chadmoore at this point. Everybody is getting out of analogue, Chadmoore doesn't own its own buildout towers (they lease tower space - that's how they did it so quickly) and the FCC intend to auction general category 800MHz licenses again in the third quarter of '98. These licenses could have a crowding effect on Chadmoore's service. And Chadmoore doesn't yet have a sizeable customer base. Until the scenario is a lot clearer, I can't imagine a takeover proposal (except maybe the maverick WorldCom, which is buying everything in its path). Chadmoore, I don't believe, would be interested in a takeover at this point. I think that is one of the reasons they have been holding detailed license information close to the vest. They would also like a considerably higher price. Just opinions. Like I said in a previous message - what the hell do I know?

Bill
