Medicare is a mess. SSI doesn't need to go bankrupt, immigration reform and/or lifting the caps puts it in fine shape. Obamacare is far from a disaster. You have to wonder where it might be if the Republicans hadn't done everything in their power to kill it. In states which built exchanges and promoted it, the subscription rate was 70% or more of the uninsured. Kentucky, IIRC, exceeded 80%.
