What you don't get is that government is a manifestation of democracy i.e. our collective decisions. So a society has a right to negotiate drug prices, or set them if it wants. The VA negotiates drug prices.

And why make it illegal to get the same drugs from Canada if a person can get them cheaper there.. Big pharma wanted that provision so they could charge everyone more. That is where paid lobbyists come in handy.

A corporation is a "sociopathic" artificial business that does not have a right to set prices unless society gives it that right.
