Toodoggone - you hear that and you assume some old-timer called it too doggone far from wherever, but no -

'The name is an English adaptation of the older, more aboriginal name Thudegane, which is an adaptation of the Kaska language term Tuhda Ughane, meaning "Two Brothers River" or "eagles nest".'

Silver was hot when Kootenay changed their name ... i wouldn't have bothered, personally, don't like name changes, tend to be meaningless and point up the ephemeral nature of so much of this business ... i still curse BC Tel and i'm sure in Alta they still curse AGT, man's got to have some sort of sustaining core values

Silver will be hot again ... <sigh>

xx.v - Avante has had that five million bucks for two weeks now, at some point we'll hear what they plan to do with it ... George is a smart guy and a driving force imho, while their economics is set up in such a way that as they grow topline revenue their costs increase at a considerably slower rate, widens margin in agreeable ways ... chart pattern since new year's is a tight wiggle, i am tempted to add here, the mildest bit more short-term negativity in re PMs might do it
