Dodd Frank penalized the little guy doing owner financing to low end hard to finance markets where people need it like the hoods, rural areas and mobile homes which astounds me. As if he had anything to do with the financial crisis. But lately new financing arms have gone to that niche market of easy qualifying low down mortgages yet again mostly in CA. This gets around QM requirement of Dodd Frank and soon this will be packaged yet again to WS is what some of the smartest guys in the room are saying. Scariest is this will go nationwide I bet to keep the party going. The fed creating yet another monster few are talking about..
