I think the most important objective here Rob, and Wolfgangrene for that matter, ... and anyone else that's reading these boards that understands some TA, ...
... is for everyone to walk away with Knowledge, a good teacher will always have a full class room, unless she has a knockout bod! Ha!
A good understanding and sense of direction of the markets is the Key Factor.
The markets dont have Fundamentals, .. they only have Technicals, so we have to play it that way, as we've all witnessed how they move an entire sector up and down together, regardless of news by a company or a group of companies, they toss out the baby with the bath water every time.
Other than the Bio-Sector, ... the PM sector has been the most volatile sector Ive been around, and Ive been here since the mid to late 70s.
Stocks have fundamentals, ... so you have to choose the ones that are right for you as you keep in mind your tolerance level and most importantly your "time frame", and not get frightened out when they toss out the babies.
Its really that simple. |
