Slowmo, ... its good to speak with you. You and I used to chat late nights frequently a while back, which I thoroughly enjoyed by the way.
I want to get more people involved, I want them to speak up and present a view or an opinion.
The point that I was trying to make is not that people are stupid or lying, ... and the fact that they are seeking information in places like these (MBs) tells me they are looking for answers, for direction, while others might be looking for confirmation, ... for if they had those answers, ... they would not be here seeking out the type of information we post here.
One is not stupid or lying when they sit silently and offer nothing or very little to the cause.
To me, ... it means three separate things, they are either trying to learn, to pick up the necessary information that will help them make better future decisions, or they are here looking for confirmation on their personal technical views which they gathered on their own, or they have learned what they need to learn and no longer have a need to hang around, so they stop in from time to time and read, which is fine, but I am here to learn from others also, and I cant do that if only a couple of people interact that way.
So if you found some technical information that's working for you, I would like to review it and maybe put it to work at some point myself. |
