Dearborn: Muslim parents angry over Easter egg hunt school flyer
Posted on April 5, 2014 by Pamela Geller

Further proof that “interfaith dialogue” only goes one way … to Islam. We suffer daily demands to impose Islam on the secular marketplace.

Not to mention unending litigation jihad against Heinz, Hertz, Disney, Wal-Mart, Target, Planet Fitness, Boston Children’s Hospital, DHL, Star Transport, Wegman, Tyson Meat Plant, Cargill, and scores of other American companies to impose Islam on the workplace.

Mosqueing the neighborhood Mosqueing the public school Mosqueing the public square Mosqueing the workplaceThe public schools have become a battle-ground for Islamic supremacists for some time. Islamic prayer rooms, prayer times, special Friday prayer accommodation, halal food in school cafeterias, Islamic proselytizing curriculums, and Muslim hajj accommodation, have been imposed on public schools across the country. Muslim parents demand that students be excused from music and co-ed phys-ed classes.

Dearborn Public Schools have implemented a policy which fully accommodates student-led prayer in all the schools, as well as unexcused absences for students who leave early on Fridays for Jumu’ah prayers. All of Dearborn schools provide special accommodation for Muslims — footbaths, prayer rooms, even football practice at night — and it all just gives way to more outrageous sharia demands.

Using children like human shields (which is their MO), a Muslim parent said that his 7- or 9-year-old child actually said ‘Dad, I really don’t feel comfortable getting these flyers, telling me to go to church. I thought churches are not supposed to mix with schools.’” What 7-year-old talks like that? They don’t. But this is the device supremacists use — using children (sort of a riff on Hamas using children as human shields). They pulled this same PR stunt a couple of weeks back in their latest demand to get halal food in NYC cafeterias (here). This is the same ideology that encourages these same parents to hand their children over to jihad and slaughter the non-believers “wherever you find them.”

If you cannot tolerate other religions, why not stay in a supremacist sharia country where creed apartheid is the law of the land? They come to America to impose this oppressive and subjugating system of supremacism on unsuspecting non-Muslims.

But a secular afternoon of fun and frolic is an insult to Muslims at this Michigan school.

The pastor of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church defended the flyer, saying it was approved for distribution by Dearborn Public Schools and is not promoting a religious event.

“It’s designed to be an opportunity to invite the community to come for a day of activity,” said Pastor Neeta Nichols of Cherry Hill.

But forcing non-Muslim public school children to go on trips to mosques, bowing and praying to allah — that’s OK.

The notorious Islamic apologist, Niraj Wirakoo, scribbled this piece. Note the headline: “promoting Easter.” Once a tool, always a tool. How much do they pay you, Niraj?

“Muslim parents upset over school flyer promoting church’s Easter egg hunt,” By Niraj Warikoo, Detroit Free Press, Thanks to Halal Pork Shop, April 5, 2014Some Muslim parents are concerned about public schools in Dearborn handing out flyers to all students advertising an Easter egg hunt, saying it violates the principle of church and state separation.

A flyer headlined “Eggstravaganza!” was given to students this week at three elementary schools in the Dearborn Public Schools district, which has a substantial number of Muslim students. The flyer described an April 12 event at Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church in Dearborn featuring an egg hunt, relay race, and egg toss. It asked students to RSVP “to secure your free spot” and included images of eggs and a bunny.

“It really bothered my two kids,” said parent Majed Moughni, who is Muslim and has two children, ages 7 and 9, in Dearborn elementary schools. “My son was like, ‘Dad, I really don’t feel comfortable getting these flyers, telling me to go to church. I thought churches are not supposed to mix with schools.’ ”

Moughni said he’s concerned about “using school teachers paid by publicfunds … to pass out these flyers that are being distributed by a church. I think that’s a serious violation of separation of church and state.”

David Mustonen, spokesman for Dearborn Public Schools, did not respond Thursday to several requests by the Free Press for comment.

“There is not a religious component to this event.”

“Part of our ministry in Dearborn is to invite the community to let them know we’re here,” she added. “We’re offering various kinds ofprogramming, fun opportunities, so what we can be engaged with the community.”

But Moughni and others are worried that churches are trying to convert their youth through the Dearborn schools. Moughni said his children received flyers for Halloween events at another church last year.
