Remember When Republicans Said Social Security And Medicare Would Destroy Freedom Too? And they were right then and now. Nations generally don't fall overnight, they erode. The stratification, the young made bums, the decreases in opportunity for those at the trailing end of the bell curve are symptoms for those who know how and where to look. eerily reminiscent of two other large -- and now widely popular -- expansions of the safety net: Social Security and Medicare The F$A isn't capable of discriminating between popular and good. America has cancer. It began when enough were convinced that each could live off others.
