sorry but you totally missed my point in my post What I tried to prove was that once one country illegally snatches a part of another country by illegal means or military force, today, it opens a can of worms, better said snakes. Read some German local news paper and you will understand the sentiments, imagine Koenigsberg going back to its rightful ethnic owners as parts of France or Poland or Azerbaijan from Iran or the independence of Baluchistan and the list is quite long As for the Russian article nothing is printed in the newspapers as a commentary or news worthy event without government approval. Little things like this can quickly inflame hostilities and hatred with dear consequences and force totally irrational responses As a side comment it is amazing that on Wrangel Island a little settlement with families and children existed.
