If Robry is any where near correct, it means utilities will have to inject a record amount of gas to meet their storage requirements in order to deliver against total annual demand. Also, a record amount of gas will need to be produced just to fill storage levels to last year's high. Available gas for storage is a function of production - consumption. Will the weather co-operate and lessen summer consumption? Will current and planned drilling offset steep tight gas declines and grow total nat gas production to fill storage this season? How much of a factor is coal switching?
