Sankar, MKE builds about half of their HDD's in Shikoku Island, Japan (near Osaka), almost half in Singapore, and a smaller amount in Ireland. I continue to believe that Quantum will retain their leadership position in HDD and continue to see very strong growth in DLT (50%-66% growth per year on a $1B-$2B business is not so bad). I'm not sure what it will take to sort out the fierce price competition, but sooner or later the smaller players that are trying to gain share based on low-balling prices have got to feel the financial pain of that kind of strategy. The big players will not give up their positions at the big OEM's without a protracted fight, and distribution can only absorb so much at a time. I wish I had taken some gains in the $40's, but for now intend to ride this out back to $40. Good luck. -TOKO
