You make it my business when you whack jobs teach Creationism in public schools. You violate my rights to my beliefs when you do that. Religion has no place in Government institutions. Why? Because if you really are so tolerant of religious Freedom, then you don't want our Government choosing what religious beliefs to teach in our schools. Why do you get to choose Creationism be taught in our schools and the Islamic Wahabiist don't get to teach suicide bombing in our schools? I don't want either of you teaching religion in public schools. I want my kids learning to be good Catholics and also learning that science is real and important. Keep your wacky ideas in your home where it belongs.

The reality is that Creationism, like Evolution, is part of history and if children are not to be indoctrinated by schools the schools must either avoid both subjects or teach them both.

If you don't want your kids to know that some people believe Creationism, then perhaps you should do what many of those who believe in creation are doing and home school.

I prefer that both be taught from an historical perspective, and that the FACTS that we know about Evolution be taught as science, but NOT the suppositions.

What you or I think has nothing to do with anything though, since it has all been turned over to a federal bureaucracy run by union nitwits who would be unemployed if they had to meet the standards for hiring at Walmart or McDonalds.
