You might want to start looking in the Notes about the AFW Acquisition on October 2, 1995 in the 10K filed for the year ending 9/30/96: sec.gov "Intangible assets, primarily goodwill 43,099" That's millions...
Some of that may have been amortized subsequent to the purchase and original reporting...the Company should be able to answer the question..."How much of that Intangible Asset is still on the books?" Note: One can dig it up for himself...
