HAS SCHWAB LOST ITS 'CORPORATE MIND'? This business of ''relying''on a new corporate vendor that they--one might argue--stupidly chose & retain, is the most horrible excuse & corporate 'canard' that I have heard for MANY years! They did, indeed, turn to a new vendor; remember the horrible ETD & Preferred quotes in 2013? They had MULTIPLE complaints wherein even their top customer reps felt 'stupid & 'uninformed'! NOW---NOW, we have the final 1099 reports re Qualified Dividends being wrong? What does that make of one's strategy in choosing 'QUALIFIED DIVIDENDS' wherein they will boost extra yields?..............answer...........A FOOL'S ERRAND! Imagine going to your favorite Hot Dog stand or shop and the 'dogs' have grizzle & 'strange particles' in them. Your Hot Dog stand guy says.....I CHANGED MY VENDOR!!?? What would you SAY, what would you DO? Totally INEXCUSABLE; maybe that's why I received my 5th Schwab 1099 which recharactorizes Qualified Dividends---for the 5th time---in my favor. I have decided to not inforn my CPA and take the approx. $200 LOSS! Any thoughts re your own hard-earned money & accompanying strategy?
