The range has narrowed to a point that it is smallest of the last 4 or 7 days and it had a high and low within the range of wednesday. It has contracted. Same as a BBand contraction, just shorter term. For the short term people, you watch for a move of 1/8 over yesterday's high for buy, stop at 1/8 below thurs low. Position people might use this as an entry point if you were getting in anyway.
