I don't think you're nuts at all.
Well, if you are, then I'm one as well.
Like Jerry, my wife has no interest in investment, so her comfort feature are the monthly bank statements.
Brokerage statements, she can't understand those - and I must say I don't understand some myself ( buying power, margin requirements, etc )
So I ensure she's a happy camper with several CD's in our portfolio -- earning from 0.85% to 2.75% Yuck.
And a happy wife means a happy household, right ?
I intend to add to my holdings of CHSCO and CHSCN upon any pullback. Those are great stocks, and I am very thankful to this board for initially drawing my attention to CHSCO.
Their effective yield will help offset the low returns of my CD's. |
