| | | I just heard a woman 'pundit' on Fox (don't know who she was; I was working in the other room and had Fox on as background noise) tell Neil Cavuto that the fact that 84% of Nevada is public land is a good thing because ranchers have to pay grazing fees, and, since 'we' as taxpayers own that land, those fees as going into 'our' pockets.
[Imagine: this woman is actually paid for her insights.]
Has it ever occurred to her that the biggest cut of that fee money probably goes to paying the obscenely ballooning entitlement programs (food stamps, welfare/public assistance, section 8, and the like), subsidizing illegals, and the Obamas' monthly week-long vacations? How much of that money have you or I seen?
As a matter of fact, I don't choose to see it. I choose to have the huge majority of that 85% returned to private ownership, and I choose to have the federal government off the backs of American cattle ranchers and farmers.
And I want the American government to put the welfare of tortoises, and the expansion of solar power, far behind the welfare of the American farmer/rancher on its list of priorities.
I wish I knew who that woman was. I'd send her a copy of imdb.com |
