Was a reference to the radical Islamic 9/11 attack on the US something too much for your pint sized brain to comment on? One of the more significant events in the last 50yrs of religious extremism but you could not produce one response of coherent thought or idea? Such a useless tool to ignore this, even what would have been a golden opportunity to boast the superiority of your Judeo/Christian faith & still blew it. (still a marroon)
Also as jallen pointed out in that post "the truth will out", where the facts lead and so all moves inexorably into the future with no signs of a second coming, or this prophesied 12th Imam of Iran, or any arrival of the Jewish Messiah. After witnessing what happened to the Jewish state 2000yrs ago, not sure if the world can take too many more messiahs, prophets or Gods that did nothing while each century produced even more war,suffering disease & destruction on successively massive scales.
Even with that, the US is a multicultural & multireligious experiment, there's an attempt to safeguard religious freedom with a wall between church & state. It has always managed to retain this idea though has survived a series of culture wars which saw Catholics, Mormons and members of other religious minorities & races anathematized as un-American,inferior, and each persecuted in their time with absolute bigotry, try to remember that next time haphazardly throwing around the term. |
