Debra,
First let me say you have provided excellent input to this forum, you
are certainly educated and up to date on your subjects and seem to
be market smart, the type person we can all learn things from. I have
followed your post for the last few days and for the most part enjoyed
them but I do feel you need to be aware of a couple of things. You
seemed VERY annoyed that a few people on here that could not
or did not attend the meeting last week had questions of the ones that
did and I want to attempt to give you my perception of the situation.
I, for one, would have been at the meeting if at all possible. I am
responsible for bringing several million dollars per year in new business
to the company I work for, last week was our 3rd quarter meeting in
Mytrle Beach SC to review the year and make 4th quarter projections,
I consider myself very good at what I do but I cannot be in 2 places
at the same time - my priorities are 1- Family 2- Job 3- Investments.
I think (perhaps I should say "like to think"), that other people are
found theirselves in a similiar situation. As much as this meeting was
hyped and I sincerely mean HYPED, a few of us grew concerned over
the lack information we were receiving about the meeting and then
BOOM the bottom falls out of FTEL. Speaking strictly for myself, I was
not expecting any new news from this meeting but nor was I expecting
the sell off we saw with FTEL. I had asked the question about the
San Franciso meeting and was it still on, that too had been HYPED
heavily. As far as the panic part, there did seem to be some of that
and in my opinion understandably so, whatever it's worth, I have not
sold any of either and do not intend to in the near future. As far as the
guts thing you mentioned, I spent 18 months in Southeast Asia killing
people while they in turn were trying to kill me, I'll put my guts up against
anybody. I think the bottom line Debra is this, there are a couple of
individuals that post here that are deeply involved in this DCTC and
FTEL project. Right or wrong many of us have come to depend on
their word as gospel as they seem well connected to Frank and Joe.
Some of the things they have posted have turned out to be pure BS
and it has shaken the confidence level that once exsisted for many
of us. I'm not sure we should have harsh feelings toward the ones
that questioned some concerns they had or did not attend meetings.
We should all do our own homework and I like to think most of us do
but how much can you do with either of these companies, ie SEC
filings etc. My personal decision to invest was based on my feelings
for the future of FTELS technology and DCTC market savvy and I
must admit some of the hype that was being posted here. I am not
disappointed, panicky or gutless about the decision I made, I am
convinced my decision to invest was a good one - time will tell. I felt
some of your comments were made because I had asked about the
San Fran meeting Friday and also asked for the meeting attendees to
share more substance of the meeting with us. Please do not misconstrue
this as coming down on you - not the case at all - I just feel you should
see this thing from another view point. Nuff said. Please, and I'm sure
I speak for many of us that tend to be lurkers, continue your outstanding
contributions to this forum, you are beginning to attract quiet a following.

Have a great weekend.
Dan D.
