I think the Reid revelations also had a major affect on the grunts working on the government side. I mean, its OK to be one of the 'oppressors' if you feel justified. If you believe the guy is breaking the law and you have a job to do that's OK. But, as soon as you feel like your not on the right side, things change. I don't think the average American law enforcement person would ever take up arms against other average Americans just because he's told to. I would bet there were some interesting discussions taking place as soon as the Reid revelations came about. Would loved to have been there to say "see, I told you so".
