I found it amazing how many Russians are believing the lies and propaganda spewed out by the Russian establishment.

I think that the situation in Ukraine will be the trigger of a very serious financial crisis.
Market did not took in account that hostilities may brake out every day and are totally misjudging the severity of the situation.

Anyone familiar with Russia knows that if they succeed in Ukraine the other countries rich in energy resource will fall like dominoes, and the price the EU and the US will pay at the end is far higher than anyone even takes into account.

China will declare a new sphere of influence with extensive territorial water rights and annexation of various islets, and the Japan and the Philippines will ask from the US to fulfill their contractual obligations of defense and hte choices would be very hard to fulfill, and in fact nullify the ability of deterrence of the US military.

The Kremlin is out to assert his so called right place in world which is bringing back the cold war substantially increased defense budgets on expensive "widgets" of destruction with increased and wasteful military personnel.

The Russians are already in the pits form an economic point of view and are eager to draw everyone else into recession. Russian TV is filled with the misery of the Western Nation and the murderers and rapist in Ukraine, next will be all former Eastern Countries which where under the Stalinist boot.

German and other European businesses are just as despicable as they where under the Third Reich, carrying more about their own profitability than human life. Russia knows that and makes full use of this attitude until it will be too late.

The lack of discussion on this topic on this board and other SI boards I visit, is also indicative of a world society which is extremely selfcentered and selfish
