And yes I'm still surprised pads haven't sold better. I thought they would take over the world by now. I use my MacBook Pro w/Retina for one thing... photo upload and editing. Everything else is iPad.

I have a dedicated computer for work, which I use for nothing but work. For personal computing, pretty much 90% iPad. I do quite a bit of photo editting and sharing on my ipad myself-- my PC is only for organizing and backing up my photos. In fact, I use my home PC once a year for Turbo Tax, so it's pretty ready to go back into hibernation.

Seems to me that all those cheap Android tablets are giving tablets a bad name. People buy them, find that they aren't better than their home PC's for most functions, and then end up buying a PC (or Chromebook :) ) as their next computer. iPad was supposed to usher in a revolutionary new age of personal computing, but Android tablets seem to reinforce the old way.

The answer, as always, is that Apple needs to find a way to sell people their first tablet.
