Or put another way, about equal to the 2013 annual revenue of a single US bank, Citibank ( see their earnings report of today).
Hardly staggering when you actually think about the number in context, rather than just being a dumb ass reporter (not you Isopatch). That figure is for all NG infrastructure across the entire country.

A single 4 train LNG plant is worth about $20 billion. That reporter is clearly used to working with numbers in the region of his/her paycheck!
