It's interesting to have lived through a mass hysteria like that [CO2 hockey schtick]. It's surprising that some people [those with cash flow from the fraud] are still going but they'll probably carry on until the CO2 cash spigot is turned off. Cults tend to continue while the acolytes keep on providing cash to carry on. Without opm the cult will have to be self-funding - never a popular idea. OPM is best. CO2 worry was understandable with the patina of science that it had but the "settled" science is now shown to be anything but settled, with climate models being shown to be laughable. They have had to go for heat hiding in the ocean. The fact is the "scientific" models did not match reality. That means, ipso facto, the models are bung. They are just like a graph of future crude oil prices the government of NZ had 34 years ago, with the envelope of expected permanent rises soaring for decades, but reality was the actual graph sliding out the bottom and then continuing all the way down to $10 a barrel in 1986 and then up and down a bit, still being at $10 a barrel in 1999, following $40 a barrel in 1979. My prediction from October 2007 was that 2020 would see Little Ice Age cooling, with cold winters in 2007/8/9 which happened. Now, more and more that's becoming the conventional wisdom. The test of the theory is only a few years away now. Gee the last 7 years went fast! Then there won't be much talk of CO2 heating. Mqurice
