When (not if) better digital technology becomes available (software change), capacity will compound. Direct Connect is six to one already. 15MHz X 6 = the same as, that's right 90MHz of analog capacity (with no eavesdropping).

BS. You are clueless about the underlying technology (iDEN). It's 25Khz (or 64Kbps with QAM) per half-duplex channel. Period. One channel can carry up to six different streams of data, but (naturally) that has no effect on the channel's bandwidth, nor the network's overall capacity.

Finally, don't confuse Direct Connect with Six Pack: the latter is six to one, but the former is one to many.
