It looks like this is an admission that after the January 2007 Apple announcement, Android became strongly influenced by the iPhone and iOS.


Of course, I was just questioning how much information Schmidt was able to communicate to the Android team because he was on the Apple board. It seems it was like very little beyond that Apple was working on a phone.

That being said, he should have resigned (or been fired) long before he did. There is zero reason to even have the possibility of that kind of impropriety on the board.
