I'm a Joe. :-)

That is true. Trying to manage my workflow, connect to client computers, do my daily tasks, etc., would be all but impossible on an iPad, or most any other tablet. So I actually do need the screen size.

Later this year I plan to upgrade to a 27" iMac (assuming Apple releases a new model), with two external monitors. I'll be happy as a clam.

I have considered getting a wi-fi only iPad mini for content consumption – movies, books games, news – things like that. I just won't try to do any real work on it. :-)
