In stalling Chrome OS on a virtual machine running under ubuntu 13.10 used webupd8.org which gets you to jochromeos.hexxeh.net. I used Build 4028 that was built 20 april 2013, I used the VirtualBox download ChromeOS-Vanilla-4028.0.2013_04_20_1810-r706c4144-VirtualBox.zip I unziped it to /usr/local//usr/local/ChromeOS-Vanilla-4028.0.2013_04_20_1810-r706c4144-VirtualBox.vdi The vdi is used by virtual box. I found I had to disable mouse integration to have mouse move within the virtual machine. I named the machine http://jochromeos.hexxeh.net build 4028 So I can know where it came from. Next thing was adding a guest whatever so I could mount shares. HOWTO: Install Linux Guest Additions + Xorg config forums.virtualbox.org Then HOWTO: Use Shared Folders forums.virtualbox.org AND you run into a blank wall as there seems a bug. one cannot use a mount -t vboxsf as it is not supported and on an on. There may be some install iso that has some stuff that may add stuff orfix stuff. screw this for now.
