It certainly has started out as a gap and must not trade down to 14 1/16, which was yesterdays high, if it is to remain a gap. This would then be another continuation gap. It is an indication of market strength and tells everyone the bull trend is healthy and kicking. It is NOT negative if the market retraces into the gap, or below it. More often than not, these become buying opportunities. As far as a flag pole goes, it appears that the flag is still being hoisted up.
