Now its the simple truth. Costs are higher, and the government is exerting more control than it used to. You might want to argue that the benefit is worth the cost, and the controls the government is pushing are beneficial. I'd disagree but at least an argument could be made for those ideas. But even if they are true, you still have higher costs and more control, you still have those serious negatives to go along with any possible benefit.
