Most Republican's don't even believe in evolution. All scientists know evolution is fact. So how could they join a party that cannot even understand evolution. It also says 51% of scientist's are liberals. The reason, most liberals believe in evolution. Most Republican's do not believe I global warming ,but most scientists do. And on and on. The Texas Republican party had a platform last year, or the year before that wanted to pass legislation against teaching HIGHER ORDER THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!! In effect against teaching sophisticated thinking. Do you think scientists would go for that? That is also why most intellectuals are liberals.
