Those guys take that research and twist to say what they want it to say. He is a political hack. Notice he also said class size doesn't matter. That sort of statement shows he is either stupid or has an agenda!

FOX misrepresents stuff like that constantly as did Bush.

And you are right about the direct connection, but you don't think a 5 year old who has the intellectual ability of a 3 year old when entering kindergarten might just having something to do with school performance down the road?

In fact the research pointed out that the two year lag might just be to much to overcome.

What do you think happens when you put two five year olds in kindergarten and one is operating intellectually at 5 and one at 3? I know as I have seen it many times.
