I believe in a rather libertarian definition of capitalism - I OWN my property, my skills, labor, ideas, etc.... and everyone else also owns what's theirs. To succeed, you have to compete - and the net result would be a relative abundance of goods and services -- aka, prosperity. Healthcare, ultimately, is a service industry. Free competition may not always please everyone, but the result would be (generally) affordable prices and steadily improving quality. If you regulate it to death, as we do -- over time, you'll get post office type of healthcare. Forced egalitarianism creates more problems than it solves. The world will not freeze - those who are not leading - will find themselves lagging.
