The US government is to invest heavily in solving their Y2K problems. It is said that some agencies in the terrible need of a Y2K solution do not even have the code to the programs they are running! These programs were mostly written for IBM mainframe computers. Sapiens, if they play their cards right, has a huge potential in this area since their Falcon 2000 product can convert the underlying assembly code of these lost programs on the IBM mainframes to C, and from where their consultants can go and make the Y2K modifications. The potential revenue generation are beyond expression in this particular area, and to the best of my knowledge (if I am incorrect I appreciate it if someone corrects me) Spaiens is perhaps the only company that can offer such a tool to solve the Y2K problems for firms that no longer even have the source code to the programs they are running!
