Thanks for posting the details of your home theater setup!

Those Sanyo TVs sound like good units, even if they are older. One of the advantages of 60Hz LCD TVs is that you don't get that "daytime soap opera" look that 120Hz and 240Hz TVs can give to movies. The newer technologies work well for reducing motion blur, especially for watching sports, but they can make movies look very strange. It's usually a setting you can toggle, I *think* it drops the TV back to 60Hz for a more realistic cinema look, but don't quote me on it.

Those speakers look very nice. I've always liked Altec Lansing, my computer speakers are by them and they've served me very well.

I did not know what The Hopper or Super Joey were, so I looked them up. Looks like great technology from Dish Network, and that they licensed Slingbox capabilities. That's excellent! I love DirecTV myself, which offers similar products, but I've had to accept using Comcast's offerings where I currently live, which really blows. I love Comcast's fast Internet, but their TV, not so much. I do use TiVos though to make it acceptable, I really hate Comcast's cable boxes, though their newest ones might be OK.

I'm really looking forward to "cutting the cord" with Comcast when the time comes, and going with more pure streaming features, both of my own creation and from places like Netflix.

Glad to hear the Netgear Rangemax Duo is working well for you. I've shied away from using Netgear products because I've heard bad things about them, but most of that info is old and anecdotal.
