It's also telling... that the reason given for his donations are "the pipeline issue"... when the arrangement in the facts suggests that its really an investment being made in protecting his portfolio, and nothing else. If Republicans win the Senate and even begin to restore free market function in lieu of crony driven "pay to play" fraudulent capitalism... his current investment posture means that he stands to lose BILLIONS... So, he's trying to mitigate the risk... that's tied to his opting to profit from corruption instead of competition.
