Have you seen the ads on TV about NYS creating tax free enterprise zones for 10 years around college campuses?

Cuomo, in general, seems to be really trying to push NY state off a dime. I don't have an overall picture but I read articles from time to time suggesting he's trying to grow the NY economy......esp the upstate economy. Right now, almost all the growth in NYS is centered on the City. There has been very little action in upstate. However, it seems things are starting to come alive in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. More grass roots than huge projects........but progress nonetheless. Its about time.

Cuomo really trying to cut the very high millage rates for RE taxes... Is the opposite of Seattle..many upstate in the cheap areas pay more for both utilties during the long cold winter and RE taxes than their P&I on their mortgage..

Yeah, but its partly due to the fact that housing prices are so cheap in upstate NY. There are houses costing less than an expensive Mercedes.
