From your document, condoms cost $.20 to $2.50. Sandra probably likes the $1.50 condoms. She needs 3000/1.50 = 2000 condoms. Clearly, she is a volume buyer.

4 years is 4 * 365 = 1465 days. That's 2 condoms used for each and every day in law school. Where does she find the time to study?

I never paid much attention to this story before. Now its clear why she wants someone else to pay for her birth control consumption.
