Unbelieveable to me that so many write like this matter (Amati) is dead.

John,

It was a very hard decision, but I just placed a limit order to sell at 19 7/8. I'm using some of the proceeds to take a larger position in Westell. The matter of Amati may not be dead, but Westell is quickly becoming a fish out of water, unable to breath, the life keeps slipping away. In order to take advantage of the bottom where ever it
may lie, I needed the cash. I hope to make up the Amati Fire Sale price with Westell eventually moving back up to the $20. range.

Though with the DSL block party happening in Feb. 98, perhaps we will see a replay of 1996 rise in price. From $10 in Jan 96 to a split around $85. in June was a great ride if you were on the train.
Though I'm not counting on that happening again, you never know in this crazy unpredictable DSL Industry.

Then there is the FCC LMDS Auction Feb 18th. Who knows I just might have a happy birthday in February next year, I'll be 11 1/2.
