Interesting perspective. I was wondering if the RE markets came back too quickly. Your estimate of the shortening of the cycle is probably accurate. The problem is that many of the same old risky behaviors the banks engaged in last time have come right back with a vengeance. That's the problem with not addressing the root causes and not putting people in jail for crimes. No lessons are learned and history repeats itself. We're in no man's land now.
