It seems gold shorts are playing with fire: due to no other investment
alternatives, gold is very popular as an investment in China.

February through July is normally a weak season for gold, like May
through October for stocks. However, in 2014 I would rather be long during
this period, because should Western investor sentiment turn (as measured by
Gld, for example), we could see a strong rise.
