Uh oh, ice breaking off Antarctica. Why mention it on Earth day? Hmmm... cnn.com It started to break off 6 months ago during the southern hemisphere spring last year. Let's never mention that the southern hemisphere CO2 is being ornery not melting the sea-ice but increasing the sea-ice. The quantized states of CO2 that absorb infrared energy must be flipped in the southern hemisphere. I'm sure we'll see a peer-reviewed article about this. Global sea-ice anomaly anomaly is 1 standard deviation above 30-year mean. Same value it was this time 32 years ago. arctic.atmos.uiuc.edu
