I only use borg viruses for those things that are not ported to linux and there is no alternative

Hey now let's keep this civil, Windows has come a long way in modern times. Windows XP made a lot of progress and Windows 7 is greatly improved (although our IT department is not yet convinced that Windows 8 user interface is an improvement).

This afternoon I am installing updates on a Windows Server 2003 file server that has been up for 188 days. OK I will admit this server should already had the updates applied and should have been rebooted sooner, as another Technician should have been more responsible for it. My network monitoring server (Ubuntu Server 12.04 which runs Cacti and SmokePing) has last been rebooted 155 days ago due to applying updates. Although my desktop workstation at home runs Ubuntu, at work I need the Windows server administration tools so I use a Windows 7 64-bit workstation with a multi-monitor setup. I think at this point that 64-bit is ready for use so my next desktop workstation upgrade at home will be to some Ubuntu 64-bit variant.
