How much did they buy back in the quarter?

Curious as to how aggressively they supported the stock price during this last quarter. If they were the buyer for funds and individuals rotating out of AAPL, that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

These last 2 earnings reports could be important inflection points for AAPL. Last Q was the one to stop the downward slide and put in a bottom. This Q was the one to put in the framework for future gains in the stock price.

FWIW, I think many are overthinking the 7-1 vs 5-1 or 10-1. I think ist's simply to make the math more difficult in comparing Jobs AAPL and Cook's AAPL. Divisible by 10 or 5 makes the comparison too easy. I don't look at it cynically or see that as a negative. It is a different company. Stop comparing it to what it was. It is what it is now. If you take out AAPL's past history, the stock is a good buy now. Comparing it to the AAPL of the early iPhone years is simply comparing AAPL to a stock that is no longer available for sale.

AAPL is the girl who will go out with you now at 35. She has a good job, pretty good looking, likes hanging out with you and watching football, and more importantly she's wiling to settle for you. Comparing her to the hottie you could have had in high school only sets you up for failure.
