I guess the Fed 'won' turning things around so fast. Do you think this cycle will be much shorter than the typical 18 years as a result? I've got an opinion on most everything, but seriously don't have a clue. One thing I've noticed... with the flight to the cities, you go out to the real rural USA and the prices are dirt cheap and are still declining. An option for retired people, not so much for people still working. Looks like, for now, we're staying put in FL, but going to start some major road trips after wife retires in 2 weeks. We went up to NC in January and it was Too-F'ing-Cold! After 20+ years in Florida who wants to wear all those layers of clothing?
