I get that, too.

But I recognize that taxpayer funded health care, a government welfare program, is inconsistent with the concept of insurance, a financial tool to manage risk. They are two different things. Conflating them corrupts each, muddies thinking about them, and feeds the sorry state of political discourse about them.
