I've been turning this over in my mind and am beginning to wonder if it all fits together. A friend who works at Micron Tech mentioned a while back that Micron Electronics would make an announcement in Feb. '98 that would be very significant, but likely wouldn't measurably impact earnings until summer. I believe I saw something on this thread a while back that also mentioned an upcoming February announcement. Micron Display Tech has been building small flat panel displays for the military and is trying to expand in that market. Now you indicate that you have friends at Micron Electronics that are involved with display development as well. Do you suppose that MUEI could be ready to come out with flat panel displays for desktop machines? I wouldn't expect them to have anything ready for the mass market yet, but who knows. If this were to occur and they beat the competition to market, it seems this would bode very well for their market share. I guess we'll have to wait until 3-1-98 to know for sure. TWA
