Hello Sanjay, no I have not given up on NOVL although that $12 1/2 target I had for year end is definetly not in the cards...unless of course the buyout rumors start. I am waiting for someone on this board to get them rolling......

I have this feeling that NOVL is going to buy some small outfit soon
so as not to be a target themselves...that $1 billion in the bank and market cap. at under $3 billion sure could be setting someones eyes on this company. After all, what is $3 billion these days...nothing but change to the likes of Oracle, IBM, MSFT, CPQ etc, etc, etc....

Novell has great technology, great people and a large customer base that make it an attractive play. At this moment the stock is trading at $ 7 13/16 and just a tad over my first support at $7 3/4. Break this and I think we may just see $6 3/4 going into the new year.

I hold almost 800 shares of this dog ("dog" refers to the stock and not the company or its people) and have an order for some April 5 call options. I am accumulating as it falls.
