NO IBM earnings warning - Fortune article loaded with "ifs" FUD Factor - Fear , Uncertainty and Doubt . Ghosts anyone ? Toby's link to the Fortune article suggests to me the WSJ article may have found its origin there . The Fortune article is a classic scare item . Until IBM either shows declining reveunes , or early warns of a 4Q97 EPS shortage , I believe your "Fortune" will be better if you buy IBM stock and not this issue of Fortune magazine . Remember when ole Danny Dorfman was writing everyday FUD ? Jim K.
